What a great session! It was a chilly and June-gloomy Sunday here in L.A. when I met Elena and her lovely family at the beach. Luckily the weather behaved for us long enough to have a really fun time. Eli and her daddy, Martin, had a great time running in the waves, and baby Nela got lots of kisses and cuddles from her mama as she gazed out at the ocean. They were dressed in perfect bright happy colors that contrasted perfectly with the gray day :)
I have known Elena since our daughters were about one year old. We belong to the same playgroup and I have seen her smiling face just about every week for a year and a half. Elena and Martin have been living in the U.S. for about seven years and had both of their beautiful daughters here, but next week they are moving back to Europe. They really wanted to do the session at their favorite beach, to remind them of the time they spent living in California.
