I am SO THRILLED to be able to unveil my beautiful new branding, website and blog! This has been a labor of love, more than six months in the making, and I had a lot of help along the way.
This past spring marked five years since Miranda Corbell Photography was born, and in that time I had gone through several different logos and blog and website layouts, none of which really felt exactly right. I was all over the place, because in my own head I wasn’t clear about who I am as an artist and what kind of images I most wanted to create for my clients. In the past year I have become much more focused, and I have embraced my style as natural, authentic and intimate. I want to help my clients create memories of their family that are tender and true. I think my images speak to that, but I wanted my online presence as well as my overall client experience to reflect that as well.
I combed the internet for a designer who I really felt could help me translate my photography style and all the jumbled up ramblings in my head (ha!) into a cohesive brand. Luckily I found absolutely the perfect person to help me do it. Meet Ravyn Stadick and Three Fifteen Design. Ravyn was amazing every step of the way. I am someone who has a really difficult time putting my vision into words, but she was a total pro and was great at drawing me out, helping me clarify and refine my ideas.
What she created for me is a simple, elegant design that is me to a ‘T’. I just love it. She incorporated an acorn into my logo, symbolic of both my love for my home state of California, as well as the hope and promise a new baby brings into a family. I will forever be grateful to her for her patience and her guidance, her expertise and her artistry.

Ravyn also designed an absolutely gorgeous stationary suite for me, with letterpress note cards and business cards, lovely green envelopes and rubber stamps! So much fun!!

Katy - I am a single mom raising a beautiful 4-month-old boy. Because it’s just the two of us, all the pictures are of him…there’s no one to photograph us together! When he is older, I would love to be able to show him photographs of the two of us. I have no pictures of my mom from when I was a baby because she was embarrassed by her post-baby body, and it’s a great regret of hers to not be able to show the strong, beautiful woman she was when she brought me into the world. I would love to capture the special bond Emmett and I already have, and would love to one day show him who we both were at the beginning of our journey together. As a single mom I am not able to afford a photo session of the two of us, but if I were to win a session or a discount, I would take full advantage! I am always jealous of my friend’s pregnancy photos and newborn photos–a photo session with you would be a true gift!
