This past weekend my family and I went to Palm Springs for a nice relaxing Mother’s Day. We swam, soaked up some sun and ate a lot of popsicles :) Here are a few of my favorite photos from our trip.
This lovely family is another that I met through Operation:Love Reunited. Lauren’s husband Joshua is deployed overseas and I sent him an album with photos of his beautiful wife and sons.
I was immediately struck by how stylish Lauren is and how beautifully she had dressed herself and her sons. She said that she really likes to pair rustic settings with elegant elements and that is exactly what we did. Keegan is a spirited, adventurous little dude and ran all over, exploring and finding me rocks :) Killian just adores his mama and loved to get cuddles from her.
Best wishes to you all!

I had a lovely time with Leanna and Jason at our session a couple weeks ago! They are expecting their baby girl in just a couple weeks! We met at one of my favorite parks, which just happens to be one of Leanna’s favorites as well.
These guys are great. They make each other laugh constantly, and Leanna has the brightest, most beautiful smile ever. They are so excited to meet their little girl! She is a lucky little girl to be born into a family so full of love and joy :) Congratulations you two!
I can’t think of a better capture for spring than my favorite picture from this week. A pair of sparrows have built their nest (perhaps unadvisedly) on a wreath that hangs on our front door. This week we checked inside and their are FOUR (count ‘em!) eggs! So, we are officially using the back door for the next few weeks. I did sneak out and snap a few quick pictures. Happy Easter everyone!
