Melissa Koehler “Not so Basic” Workshop – {San Diego Photography Workshop}

This past weekend I went to sunny San Diego for a workshop hosted by the lovely and wonderful Melissa Koehler.  I have admired her work for a long time and was very excited to meet her and learn from her. The workshop was held at an amazing bed and breakfast in La Jolla, right on the cliff overlooking the ocean.

What can I say about it, other than I am so very glad I went.  The other women there were great – many just starting out, some with established businesses, but all looking to expand their knowledge and refine their vision.  I am so very grateful to Melissa for her generosity and the clear way she explained things, the way she patiently listened and answered every question asked.  I had so many “A-HA!” moments that translated into beautiful pictures at our shoot that afternoon.  Melissa’s friend Jessica brought her family, complete with two absolutely adorable, precocious and amazing daughters, not to mention a very patient husband!
