Back a few months ago I did a session with Lauren and her boys for the Operation: Love Reunited program. Her husband Josh had been deployed overseas for more than seven months. Last Wednesday he came home and I had the privilege of being there when his sons saw him for the first time in months.
This is my favorite capture of the day, with more to come later. Out of nowhere, three year old Keegan put his hand on his Josh’s face and just stared at him, as if in disbelief that his daddy was really there. I will never forget this moment for as long as I live.
