This is my favorite photo this week, mainly because of the story behind it. I was snapping some shots of my daughter while she was eating lunch, and for the most part she was totally hamming it up for me – big smiles, goofy faces, etc. After a while, I said “Áine, look at Mama,” and she sighed, rested her face on her hand and said “Again?”
It was just such a big kid moment, a reminder that she is growing up so fast (she turned two last week!). She’s grown up with my camera in her face and she handles it so well most of the time. But sometimes I need her to remind me to put the camera down and just be with her.
