How I Work
As you can see by looking through my portfolio, I love taking relaxed, candid photos of my clients. During family sessions we do a mixture of posed and candid photographs. My style with photographing families is very simple – I set up the scenes and then step back and let you interact as a family. I have lots of little tricks to get those natural smiles, and I encourage parents to snuggle their little ones, be affectionate with each other, and hopefully forget I am even there!
Details
I am an on-location natural light photographer, meaning I come to you. Family sessions can be done at home or another location (like a park, the beach, etc.) that we agree on. I am always happy to make suggestions for a location! If we are doing the session at your home, I need a good source of natural light, like big windows or french doors.
Family sessions are usually between 60-90 minutes. I want you to have fun, first and foremost, and always seek to cultivate a stress-free experience that allows for breaks, snacks... whatever you and your kids need.
About two weeks after your session, I will send you a link to a password protected online gallery where you can view your portraits. There will be approximately 30-40 fully edited and retouched images in your gallery. You place your order directly from your online shopping cart.
